If you are interested in having an ETI this year remember to check all your SFI dates. Here is a checklist.
License/competition number 2 years
Chassis 9.99/6.39 and quicker or over 135 mph 3years
Harness 2 years
Harmonic balancer 18.1 10.99 and quicker no expiration currently
Flexplate 29.1 9.99/6.39 or quicker or over 135 mph 3years *
Flexplate shield 30.1 9.99/6.39 and quicker or over 135 mph 5 years
Transmission shield ridged 4.1 10.99 and quicker 5 years must have strap(s) under transmission installed
Transmission shield flexible 4.1 10.99 and quicker 2 years
An ETI will expire at the end of the year or the date of your earliest expiration whichever is first. For example if you are planning on going to the bracket finals everything has to be good through September.
Also note all helmets dated 2000 expired 1/1/12 helmets must be 2005 and later.
* This one surprised a lot of people including me.
If you have any questions pm me and I will find an answer as soon as possible.
Another item of importance is a locking transmission dipstick is required on all cars running 10.99/6.99 or quicker.
Again an NHRA rule book can be downloaded for free at NHRARACER.com. |
