Santa showed up a few weeks early and picked up all of the breakfast tabs this morning (even Kim's runny eggs)!! You know who you are and we really appreciate the generousity that has seem to come this time every year!!
Everybody have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!! It is racers like Santa Claus that makes the holidays special!! _________________ Jim Butcher |

Allen and I also want to thank Santa. It was very much appreciated.
We have had some issues with the service and quality of food at our current location. We are considering a change. We need a place that can accomodate around 30 people. Does anyone have any suggestions? |

We wanted to send our thank yous to "Santa" as well. The service has been a bit disappointing. Trying to think of a good place to serve that large a number could be accommodated in town. We might have to place a few calls to see if there is one here. _________________ Michael Cochran

| I'll be that guy and ruin his reputation, Santa is Mike Smith. Thank you very much Mike. I'm sorry I promised you last year I wouldn't tell people you're really a nice guy, but that was a year ago and my memory isn't what it used to be. |

Bill,
Since you just had to let the cat out of the bag and tell everyone that Mike was Santa, I just had to give you a new nickname!!
Mike, much appreciated as always and I think everyone that was there at breakfast should automatically lay down for you in the first round of Super Pro or Super Street next year!! Just my thinkin'!!
Joy,
You might try calling Roger at Southside and see what he says. Problem is that place is usually packed to gils on Saturday mornings at 9:00 am!! There is not other place in town that I know that is big enough to handle that many people!! I will keep looking!! _________________ Jim Butcher |

| Thanks for the suggestions but I checked with Bob Evans and Southside earlier. Neither one could help us out. I guess for now we will have to stay where we're at. For me, I'm going to order safe from now on....pancakes and eggs WELL DONE. |

| Joy, have you or someone spoke with the manager? We have never ate breakfast there but have dinner plenty of times and have never had a bad experience. Seems like they should not want to lose a crowd of 30 or more!! |

I spoke with the owner when I first made the arrangements. I think maybe I need to touch base with her again.
Allen and I eat there often and we have not had any issues before. The food and service has always been excellent.
Hopefully next month will be a better experience for those who had issues in the past. |

Stopped and talked to the "powers that be" at Allisons. There was a mis-understanding and they were NOT expecting Pacemakers group in December. They were very apologetic and definitely want us back. From now on they will have extra waitresses on duty the first Saturday of the month for us.
Hope to see you all in January. |
