Hi all, Need some help (Major help). Im working on a 92 TFX hemi motor and need some help. I got almost everything I need but need some help with the rods. I just got to get the rods and the cam. I know where Im getting the cam, but other then that I got almost everything including a 14-71 blower. Would like someone who does Hemi's to look at what I got and direct me somewhere in the right direction... Im hoping to post a pic

I can tell you that the lions share of racers use BME rods, but I would want the engine builder to speck what rod length and such for your pistons and crank. Are you planing on running this thing, or is it just a conversation piece? The teams throw rods and pistons in these things like nearly every round. I'm sure if your just putting together a cool looking piece of art they could be had for much of nothing. If you plan on running this thing you best find an engine builder and let him get what you need. IMHO

I think at that power level I'd defer to Fowler or another shop familiar with ProMod type power.

Rzolman I do plan on running this. Im hoping to do some Super quick racing... Hoping not to have to twist it to hard.... Rolling Eyes I am going to take it to Fowlers when I get all my parts together. Hoping on having all parts by next month. I got the crank and pistons. I think I just need to take it to Fowlers and have them to check length....
This project has been a long time coming and I look forward to getting it done... Getting close, just wish it didn't cost so much... LOL
