I was wondering have we ever had a race at Pacemakers with a pay out of 5K box or 2K no box? I can't remember a race paying more. Maybe I am just getting old and don't remember. Please correct me if I am wrong?

Randy Jones and myself rented the track and put on two five thousand to win races in the early 90's. And we had to pay the club the purse up front.

So yes its's been done, and yes like all of us your getting old! Laughing

Bargo
I know we had it a week ago i was a first round duck.

However the reason I ask is it was one of the biggest races ever at Pacemakers and the two that won "Doug / Wes" that night didn't even get a mention on the home page or in the results section. I think the track or Malaby need to do a better job keeping the site up to date. Results, points, schedule or whatever it is. If your going to have a site it needs to be updated weekly.

HEY GUYS AND GALS,
MIKE NITZ HAD A $10000 DOLAR RACE IN HIS TIME HERE RACE WAS WON BY TIM FINNAMAN WHEN HE ONLY WENT 60 FEET THE OTHER GUY WAS ONE OF THE BANNED RACERS AND NEVER LOOKED BACK FOR HIS COMPETITOR. AS A MONEY MAKER IT WAS A FLOP HE LOST BIG TIME ON THAT ONE. BYE THE WAY THERE IS NO LONGER A INTERMITANT PROBLEM WITH RAILS ON THE LEFT SIDE. YOU GUYS SHAKE THINGS A LOT WITH THOSE MOUNTAIN MOTORS, THE DOOR SLAMERS DON"T SHAKE THINGS ENOUGH. THE PROBLEM NO LONGER EXISTS. ONE OF THE BIGGEST SHAKERS OF ALL HAS VERIFIED IT AFTER ABOUT 10 OR SO RUNS. THERE WAS A BUNCH OF VERY CLOSE RACES SATURDAY AND A LOT OF DEAD ON RUNS IN COMPETION, AS YOU KNOW I SEE THEM ALL AND I DO MEAN ALL.
GOOD LUCK TO YOU ALL,COME RACE THE LEGEND.

Malaby -

Would you please coordinate with Jeremy or whoever it is that relays the results info for each race so that the website can get updated? The results of the high roller race and all other races that night are still not updated (unless I'm not looking in the right place). As a track patron and friend of many racers, I enjoy seeing the results, pics, runs etc. I know you must be busy (and this website isn't your only job) but it has been 1.5 wks and I still can't see the results. I am also aware that you were not there to take winner circle pics, however, some were taken. I know first hand that Paula Cochran took the winner cirlce pic for the box winner. I know that to many racers, the results or pics, etc are no big deal, but I am one of the (maybe) few who do come to this website for more than the forum. Right now I am kind of disappointed.

I am really not trying to b*tch, but this is a wonderful website and I would love to see it maintained.

I can not post what I do not have. As soon as I receive the information and pictures I will post them. I too like to see the results. I did talk to Jeremy and he was trying to get a way to get the pictures from Paula. That is all the details that I know...
