Congratulations to the 2011 Sharx Design Quick 32 Champions, repeat champion Mark Cook and Jono Gerber. Mark has all but had the championship tied up since July, but packed on more points this weekend reaching the finals, to meet Bill Webb on the open side. Bill did almost everything possible to catch champion Jono Gerber, but fell just three points short of catching Jono who went out in the opening round against Joe West. Thanks to all the competitors, fans and staff that put up with a near “Leaf-Out” conditions. With extreme fall winds and leaves stopping the clocks nearly every other time trial it made for a long day of trying to qualify the vehicles and getting runs in. The junior finals in the 8.90 class where run four times to get an outcome without a leaf tripping the beams. (Congratulations Ivy Ammons-Wise on your first win!)
