Hello Everybody,
Had a great turnout for the drivers meeting at Pacemakers today and we have picked up 2 more associate sponsors for the BJRE SST Series, Bob Rudrick & Nikki Looney of J&N Performance and Dave Van Horne of Van Horne Racing Motorsports Parts & Accessories. Thanks for the support gang. Entry fee stays at $50 We still do ladders
Basicly everything stays the same as last year rules wise and new additions are the Jenkins Welding & Fabrication "Top Gun" #1 Qualifier award $50.

Championship points payout:
1st place : $500 plus a $500 gift certificate from J&T Vinyl Graphics for Trailer or race car wrap or 25% off on lettering
2nd place: $300
3rd place: $200

(no charge for points, but it will cost you if your not having fun!)

I wanted to let everybody know that we will be running off of NHRA Pro ET saftey rules this year because we are on a 7.00 index and not really a true NHRA SST class but its a track SST series. Make sure your belts and helmets are up to current dates.
I hope this helps all the questions about tech this year

These are the series rules not listed in rule book under Pro ET
No NOS (yes Bill No NOS)
No Roadsters or topless door cars

T-stop, timers, data recorders are allowed
these and the rest of rules of BJRE SST from last year still the same

Quick reminder, even with Pro ET rules if you have an altered floor or firewall you are required to have a rollcage per section 4 ET and SST . If you are required to have a rollcage you are also required to have and use a window net that like all safety equipment it is to remain in use from the ready line until you are on the return road. Six square feet of removable tunnel for driveline access is not considered an altered floor niether are wheel tubs. If you are an NHRA member ( and you should be) you can download a rule book for free on NHRARACER.com

Here is the Joy Smith Motorsports Best Winning package sign that we will take a picture of with the winner of the best winning package of each event ($50 CASH) Thanks Joy, oopps, you tell Allen yet, lol

Here is the sign for the best losing package of first round of each event from Jim & Tracy Bartholomew of J&T Vinyl Graphics ($25 CASH)

BTW The bounty money $25 Cash, goes to whom ever takes out the previous winner will come from me, Nitro Joe's Drag Racing Stats.

Testing on Friday nights before the BJRE SST series will be $10 (half off) as long as you pay the BJRE entry fee at the same time, if you dont pay to enter the series on friday night, they will charge you $20 (regular T-n-T entry).

just for clarification here is the deal, if you show up on Friday.
Friday, pay $50 for SST entry for Sat is NO TESTING
Friday, Pay $60 for SST entry, PLUS Friday night testing
Finally, Friday Pay $20, and that is testing only , But if you decide to run SST Saturday, you will have to pay $50 entry.

just a heads up on this and I'm trying to sound mean, but you make 1 run in either qualifying runs of the BJRE SST series and they dont have you showed as paid at the gate, I'm coming to collect, might be a costly time trail to who ever tried to get a free time trail, lol
