I just try to be somewhat thoughtful of other racers. As for the transmission it is a SunCoast 47RE. _________________ It's only cheating if you get caught !!!!!!! |

Theres a guy that run ones in TD in division 3 and i have hated them since he oiled the whole track at chicago while we sat in the lanes in 90 degree heat while they cleaned up the track. i don't know exactly what happened, but he coated the track from 40 ft till i ran out of oil. they had to use so much floor dry it looked like it snowed on both lanes. _________________ 2010 Mustang |

You have the same thing happening with gas powered race cars as well. That is more driver error than anything else. The unspoken good sportsmanship rule is when you feel/hear/see something go wrong with your car, you need to let off the gas, pull over to the side and STOP the car. Shutting it off and coasting down the track does not stop it from leaking oil if there is a hole in the block. I've had mine go ka-blewie more than once unfortunately, and each time, I've felt and heard something not right so I killed it pulled over and stopped. That would save all tracks time, and help keep the racers cooler in the hot summer days if we all would pay attention to our surroundings and make an appropriate choice so not to ruin other people's fun. _________________ Michael Cochran

You're right about it being driver error. I don't know if he didn't have a warning light or didn't look at it, but he made the full pull underpower and lost All the oil. _________________ 2010 Mustang |

I have only seen them run at one race. we race them at Indy. I know a lot of people complained about the smoke and the fuel soot on the starting line. when you are blowing fuel out the exhaust it got to go somewhere. That said. they sink- smelly... Not that it not cool they run fast .some of them-most of them are slow..make better truck pulls if you ask me ! flame on ! _________________ Racing not just a hobby,But a way of Life
