POINTS
Points will be awarded as follows:
NEW FOR THIS YEAR!
Racer will receive 5 points for each qualifying attempt. So even if
you do not qualify, but make both attempts you will receive 10
points that day. Racers will receive 1 point for their respective
final qualifying order (The number one qualifier will receive 16
points, the number two qualifier will receive 15 points… and the
number sixteen qualifier will receive 1 point) Plus 5 points for
each qualifying attempt. So the number one qualifier that made both
attempts would have 26 points before the first round.
20 points to stage first round
20 points for every round won
25 points to runner-up
30 points to final round winner
In the event of an end of season points tie, tie breaker will be
first determined by which competitor won the most events. If
additional tie breaker is needed, next determining factor will be
which competitor won most head to head rounds.
STAGING PROCEDURE
Burn-outs across the starting line will be permitted for both the
open wheel and door car fields. All competitors must then back up
and completely clear both staging beams prior to staging. Staging
will be in a forward motion. Any competitor not abiding by this rule
will be asked by the starter to back up and re-stage, if they fail
to comply, they will be disqualified.
Auto start will be used in Quick 32 after both cars have pre-staged
and one stage light is lit. Opponent has 10 seconds to stage, car
must be fully staged to stop timer. We do not have stage lock.
